    The  Palaceof Diocletian in the southern Croatian port of Split is an UNESCO-protected world heritage monument. It was built as a villa for the abdicated Roman emperor 17 centuries ago, and in the course of time developed into what is now the historic core of the city of Split.
    Architectural historians consider Dioklecian palace one of the best preserved late Roman villas, but also cherish the elements of the medieval city as well as the layers of the subsequent historical styles found in the eclectic makeup of the city's core.

    Split, second largest city in Croatia is economic, administrative, educational, sport and tourist center of Dalmatia county (Middle Dalmatia), traffic connection to Croatia islands, pearls of Adritic like Hvar,Vis, Brac and Solta. It offers a various types of shops.
